05/07/2017 Walk at Swan Point Cemetery

On Sunday, May 7 I was joined by 28 members for an excellent walk at Swan Point cemetery. Despite still being early in the spring migration season, we had an excellent diversity of species that included species that are early for the date and a few that are on the late side.
The highlight of the trip was seeing a family of Great Horned Owls! We watched the fledglings and adult for only a few minutes and then moved on to see what other migrants we could find.
