The Ocean State Bird Club is excited to offer its very first club sponsored pelagic.  With the help from Carlos Pedro, an experienced birder and leader of pelagic trips, along with OSBC's very own vice president and trip leader, Dan Berard, the pelagic is a great opportunity to view birds rarely seen from shore.  Seabirds are among some of the most sought after birds in the world, due to most species spending a majority of their life at sea. In this trip, we will board a Frances Fleet boat out of Galilee and head out in search of these fascinating birds. This is a great opportunity to observe and learn to ID shearwaters, storm-petrels, jaegers, and many other pelagics. There is also a very good chance of observing a variety of whales, fish and other marine life not seen on other whale watches.

The boat leaves at 7 AM sharp and will return at or near 3 PM.  Because of the nature of the trip and the strict schedule of Francis Fleet, the boat can not wait for late arrivals.  Therefore, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early.

You may pay by check or by credit card using the PayPal option at the end of the form.

If by chance the trip is cancelled due to weather, the contact person from the registration form submitted online will be contacted and you will be given the full refund of the amount you paid.
