Pulaski State Park
Chepachet
Pulaski Park holds coniferous and mixed forest, and a short hike will bring us to some nice freshwater wetlands and a productive powerline cut. Several specialty species have nested here in the past that are typical of a more northern climate.
Trails are mostly flat, with some small hills.
We will meet at the main parking area near the restrooms off of Pulaski Rd/ Center Trail at 7:30 AM. From US-44 W, continue until you pass Bowdish Reservoir, there will be a sign for Pulaski Park on the right. If you enter CT, you've gone too far!
