Charlestown & Jamestown Area Hotspots
Charlestown & Jamestown
We will meet at the Tower Hill Park ‘n Ride and bird local hotspots such as Trustom Pond NWR, Card’s Pond Rd, Beavertail State Park, and other locales based on time and which birds are around; our destinations will be dictated by the bird activity. A scope is recommended but not necessary. Bringing a packed lunch is recommend as this trip may run beyond 12pm and does not have a set end time; we’ll keep birding as long as we find birds!
Due to parking restrictions at certain areas we are visiting, carpooling will be necessary to ensure all cars will have room. If you’d like to find a carpool to the meeting location, we can try to help you find one!
Additional Information: If you are unable to meet at the park 'n ride, please coordinate with the leader. Due to the nature of this trip, the birding locations will be decided the morning of based on bird activity and recent sightings which often makes for an incredibly productive trip.
