Carlos Pedro was born in Lisbon, Portugal and
immigrated with his family to Woonsocket, RI at nine
years of age. Now a Warwick resident, he began
birding in the late nineties and rekindled his connection
with nature and the outdoors. He and his wife Debra love to travel. They have made over 32 self-guided birding trips
to more than 20 countries, mostly in Mexico, South and
Central America. He has organized over 20 pelagic
trips to Coxes Ledge and Block Canyon which have
contributed much to our knowledge of offshore RI birds.
Carlos is the Finance Director at SER- Jobs for Progress, Inc.
