Become a Member of the Ocean State Bird Club
As of December 2023, the Ocean State Bird Club is increasing its Household membership fee from $15 to $18. This is our first membership increase since our inception nearly ten years ago. With an increase of potentially $450 per year, the increased revenue will help off set the increased fees for our website platform with Weebly, Eventbrite, and PayPal. We are confident that the increase of $3 in the cost of a household membership will support the finances of the club for years to come. Thank you all for your understanding.
As a member of the Ocean State Bird Club, your membership fee is used to support the operational costs of the club along with costs associated with presentations, annual meetings, and other events. We offer a "household membership" which simply means that one membership applies to anyone living in your home. By being a contributing member of the club, you help support the great work of our leadership team and provide the funds for excellent presentations and other events. New members receive a window decal with our club's logo along with a discount coupon for Wildbirds Unlimited of Warwick. Additionally, all members receive our quarterly newsletter entitled The Osprey and discounts on special events and trips. Please consider joining today.
Our annual membership follows two cycles. For people who sign up and pay between June 15th and December 15th, your annual renewal date is June 15th of each year. For people who sign up and pay between December 16th and June 14th, your annual renewal date is December 16th of each year.
Simply use the PayPal option, choose your membership option, then submit your payment. After completing the membership form, submit your form, and choose your payment option. It's that simple. If you would like to help fund future club initiatives, please consider donating an extra $5 or $10. As we forge ahead, the OSBC Board of Directors is excited to initiate future projects with the funds we receive from members.
